The Final Result!!

This is the email I just received from a dear Collector. I painted up a 60 x 48 (you can't tell from the picture how massive the painting really is!) commission for them last year, and this is the final result. I love it!!!

Hi Jen!

I am going through all my older e-mails and I just wanted to say we love our newest painting. I sent you a photo a while back. Did you receive it? Since the wall was kind of big behind and around the painting we had someone come and do some faux work to enhance your painting. This particular wall is a niche so the artist basically "framed" the outer wall to frame your painting. It seemed kind of lost initially but now it is just perfect!

We hope you are well.

Nancy

New Aspen Painting - Aspen Blue I

I really enjoy painting aspen trees. There is nothing quite as blue as a Colorado Sky.

Enjoy!

What a Table!

I love my new table! Michael Jones is a successful metal sculptor who approached me a few months ago wanting to do a "trade" for one of my paintings. I was delighted! He and his wife commissioned a massive triptych, while I got to design an 8 foot table made of iron! Sweet deal. He even drove it out to me from Montana! The top took him a full week of polishing to get it a shining silver, while the sides and legs remained a rustic iron black. It's very unique. Perfect for my rather contemporary house. Now I just have to find the right chairs to go with it!
